hey i was going through your deviantart and I saw that you were a fan of the vampire diaries and I was wondering if you'd be interested in being one of the artists on the delena comics I started on twitter.
 
i'll just let you know a little bit about the comics.. so there's a team of artists and writers who create comics strips about delena, its not a comic book, it doesn't have a storyline, its just random strips about delena.
 
what I do is rotate the artists and writers around so its not always the same people doing strips, its a group project. this way it gives people a break bc I understand people have other obligations. This also gives you long breaks in between creating strips.

so the way we create the strips is one of my writers will write some dialogue its usually pretty short and then I will ask one of my artists to draw it then I will give that artist a break for however long they want before I ask them again to create another totally different strip.

now I just want to let you know some of the things we've accomplished since we started the comics: Julie plec (the created and executive producer of the vampire diaries) commented on one of the comic strips we created, she tweeted about it, Colleen Doran a best selling cartoonist and writer who illustrates for DC comics and who was   also a writer and artist on the original tvd comics has rted and commented on a of  few of our comic strips, she said she loved the idea of fans creating their own comic strips and lastly, the journalists from alloy entertainment who own the rights to the vampire diaries wrote an article about the comics a few months ago. For the article myself and some of the artists and writers were asked questions about the process of creating the comic strips.
